#Allgrove From the Music Room  🎵 Over the past two weeks, the students at Allgrove School have been exploring a piece of music by Johannes Brahms called, Hungarian Dance #3. The students know the piece as "Little Red" We discovered that the three musical themes fit characters from the Little Red Riding Hood story. The first theme sounds like Little Red Riding Hood, the second theme is the wolf and the final theme is the Hunter. We acted out the story and the older students learned about form in music and learned about orchestras. In 2020, Mrs. Lepak's family created a video to show these parts of the music using their family pets! It's a fun review of the piece and we thought that you might want to watch it at home.
