#EGMS "Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Responsible" The students of EGMS took an initiative to support our "three 'B's" by creating signs to communicate expectations on how to be human.  These messages need to go beyond the hallways of EGMS to remind all of us about being kind to others... nothing is more important than that!
#EGMS Thanks again to East Granby Youth Services (EGYS) for stopping by with the therapy dogs again.  Our students and adults appreciate the love and support!  Rusty was a fan favorite this time around.
#EGMS Our builders finished building the electric motored scooter and had some fun trying it out!  We even had a very special guest, Mrs. Stewart, doing laps around the hallways!
#Seymour Ms. Duffy's third graders discussed the question,  How can big ideas change a community?   They had meaningful conversations about how words matter and how changing words can change the world. Students searched for rocks and chose words that they thought would make a difference in the Seymour School Community. They added their painted rocks to our Seymour School Rock Garden.
#Seymour May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This past Wednesday, we celebrated Wellness Wednesday. Students participated in activities of their choice designed to help relieve stress and anxiety. Activities included yoga, a nature walk, puzzles, dance party and more.
