Students in Tedesco's AP calculus have been learning about turning 2 dimensional graphical regions into 3 dimensional shapes through food. Slicing pears taught about rotations using the disk method. Slicing bagels taught about rotating using the washer method. And twinkies and brownies taught about vertical cross sections from a flat base.
