In Mr. Tomala's Grade 6 Social Studies class, students created board games to create a fun and competitive way to learn about ancient and classic civilizations.  Students made game pieces,  boards, and most importantly, content questions for other students to demonstrate the knowledge they learned along the way!  Students then had the opportunity to play each other's games at the end of the project cycle.  It was a great and fun way to have students demonstrate collaboration, critical thinking, and creative thinking all in one project!
