#Seymour Seymour School was abuzz with excitement on Wednesday. Two eggs had hatched overnight. During the day we saw three more eggs hatch. Everyone is enjoying our new additions!
#EGMS "Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Responsible" The students of EGMS took an initiative to support our "three 'B's" by creating signs to communicate expectations on how to be human. These messages need to go beyond the hallways of EGMS to remind all of us about being kind to others... nothing is more important than that!

#Seymour Ms. Duffy's third graders discussed the question, How can big ideas change a community? They had meaningful conversations about how words matter and how changing words can change the world. Students searched for rocks and chose words that they thought would make a difference in the Seymour School Community. They added their painted rocks to our Seymour School Rock Garden.
#Seymour May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This past Wednesday, we celebrated Wellness Wednesday. Students participated in activities of their choice designed to help relieve stress and anxiety. Activities included yoga, a nature walk, puzzles, dance party and more.

#EGHS Students in Tedesco's AP calculus have been learning about turning 2 dimensional graphical regions into 3 dimensional shapes through food. Slicing pears taught about rotations using the disk method. Slicing bagels taught about rotating using the washer method. And twinkies and brownies taught about vertical cross sections from a flat base.
