In Mr. Simeone's Class, students were doing a really cool brain exercise on calculating how long it would take an ant to walk across the country from Dodger Stadium to Yankee Stadium!  The class collaboratively thought about factors like ant species, distance, walking speed, and obstacles to give an educated guess through a legitimate thought process using critical and creative thinking.  Their presentations were phenomenal and demonstrated what we hope our students will continue to do at EGMS and beyond... truly, a great (and fun!) Portrait of a Graduate exercise  of the sixth grade mathematical mind!
