 #Seymour Our cafeteria is now adorned with life-size images of our fifth grade students’ envisioned futures, created in art class! Each masterpiece reflects their dreams and aspirations, bringing vibrant energy and inspiration to our school. 
 #Seymour Mrs. Moore's class won the Golden Sneaker Award for the month of September! Each month, Mr. Pasqua awards the Golden Sneaker to the class that consistently has the most students remembering to wear sneakers and show respect and responsibility in P.E. class. 
 #EGMS From Mrs. Ciccarelli, 7th Grade Science Teacher: 7th grade science classes have been hard at work with their new science unit. Students have been trying to figure out where all the gas bubbles come from when you put a bath bomb in water. Are they inside of it? Is there a chemical reaction happening? Is new matter forming? These are all things that we have been discussing as we have been creating models of the science in action that we have been observing through hands on activities.
 #EGMS In Mrs. Petersen's class,  students in 7th grade worked collaboratively this week to study a region within sub Saharan Africa. They collaboratively read, researched, created posters and communicated their learning through presentations!

 #Allgrove Fire Marshall Beliveau visited our preschoolers on Thursday. The students learned how to stop, drop and roll.They also tested smoke detectors and learned the importance of having a safe meeting spot outside your home. The children also enjoyed watching him put on all his fire gear.   Thank you Mr. Beliveau!

 #Seymour Our Grade 5 students are teaming up to enhance their academic skills while embodying the Portrait of a Graduate! Through collaborative projects and hands-on activities, they’re developing critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities.
 #EGMS Students that are new to East Granby this year connected with some of our long-time students in friend groups to do some bonding activities.
 #EGMS In Mr. Ziff's class,  7th graders were working collaboratively with back yard games in various stations , including KanJam and Cornhole!
 #EGMS Mrs. Petersen's 7th graders have been hard at work creating posters about countries from all over the world!  Their work is proudly displayed for all of the 7th graders to see.

 #EGHS AP Spanish students Mia and Chloe visited the 7th grade classroom to spread awareness about Hispanic Heritage Month. Everyone learned about about the importance and played a game in celebration!
