From Mrs. Ciccarelli, 7th Grade Science Teacher:

7th grade science classes have been hard at work with their new science unit. Students have been trying to figure out where all the gas bubbles come from when you put a bath bomb in water. Are they inside of it? Is there a chemical reaction happening? Is new matter forming? These are all things that we have been discussing as we have been creating models of the science in action that we have been observing through hands on activities.

#EGMS In Mrs. Ciccarelli's science class, 7th grade students practiced all their lab safety that they learned by following directions closely for a very cool end result. They will circle back to this experiment in their first unit of learning about chemical reactions after completing their intro to science unit.
