#EGMS M any sincere thanks to  East Granby Youth Services (EGYS)  for putting together   this  awesome assembly!  Students convened in the auditorium with their Chromebooks and had an interactive learning experience about social media usage and the digital footprint.  Trooper White brought a positive vibe that was perfect for our middle schoolers, and they had some fun while digging deep into some of the do's and don'ts of social media usage.  The main takeaway: NOTHING is private, and EVERYTHING is permanent... so be kind, safe, and responsible with your technology!

#Seymour  Speed Stacking Takes Center Stage in Physical Education!
#Seymour Our fourth graders have been hands-on in the classroom, experimenting to better understand how the Earth’s surface changes over time due to weathering and erosion. Through exciting, interactive experiments, students observed how natural forces like wind and water can reshape landforms. This hands-on approach helped bring these important scientific concepts to life, deepening their understanding of the Earth’s dynamic processes.
#Seymour  Our third grade students have been honing their reading fluency skills through the engaging world of poetry! They've explored a variety of fascinating topics, including the creation of the Statue of Liberty and the start of the Gold Rush. By reading and performing these poems, students not only strengthened their fluency but also gained a deeper understanding of important historical events. It’s been an exciting way to blend reading practice with learning about our past.
