During International LEGO Day on January 28, students in Mr. Tomala's sixth grade Social Studies class had an exciting opportunity to create scenes using LEGO that reflected their learning about ancient India.

The students built impressive representations of Hindu Temples, geographical features of the region, watchtower forts, and Harappan homes. I am proud to say they did a phenomenal job of collaborating, showcasing their creativity, demonstrating their knowledge of the content, and most importantly, having fun.
