Our third grade students have been honing their reading fluency skills through the engaging world of poetry! They've explored a variety of fascinating topics, including the creation of the Statue of Liberty and the start of the Gold Rush. By reading and performing these poems, students not only strengthened their fluency but also gained a deeper understanding of important historical events. It’s been an exciting way to blend reading practice with learning about our past.
